Well, I know people who are still playing 1st ed. AD&D, so I use the
term. xD&D, then. :-p
3rd ed. for me was a case of too little too late; having 20 systems in my
collection, I no longer buy for system but for setting, and the only
*remotely* interesting (to me) setting T$R/xD&D ever produced was
Al-Qadim. I tend to play freeform, L5R (it's popular in the area) or
use Over the Edge (next best thing for freeform).
