In twenty words or less, Jennifer, can you tell me what best
characterizes
your language? How awesome that you have an understanding and eccentric
teacher!
As for the Teonaht gods... ah, there were so many in my youth! And then
their worshippers (and their creator) caught the missionary zeal and
embraced the Church. But some of those old colossal spirits still haunt
the edges of Tsorelai Mundya, flit through the woods, switch their long
tails, fan you with their great
feathers, speak wisdom through keyholes.
The word for "god" is _teuim_ (pronounced "tayim"). The word for the
One God
is Yrlo, pronounced "Eerloh." The word for Ishtar, the goddess of
erotic love
is Issytra, pronounced "iSEEtrah."
