In this case, |y| indicates a consonant, like "young", and |i| a vowel.
Most languages don't have a problem distinguishing those.

Actually, |mittus| would be pronounced /mitus/ in this system. Each
syllable could be pronounced as a separate word if needed, as a noun before
another noun acts like an adjective anyway.

Glad to hear it. If all of us are willing to accept criticism, consider it,
then review our own stances based on it, all auxlangers would do much
better.
With the phonology I've given, this language would be able to have thousands
of short roots. And if anyone wants to expand on it, go right ahead. I'm
not interested in making an IAL, this is just another artlang for me, with
some different criteria.
