Of course not. Some people find French particularly pleasing, others (like
myself) find its preponderance of nasal vowels unattractive. Many people
find Italian and Spanish particularly beautiful languages, and lovers of
Spanish will be split between adherents of American and European forms. I
have fond memories of translating classical Latin poetry, although prose
can be excessively verbose. Japanese would be preferred by many people, and
if you look for beauty in German, you will find it there too. But the
language I like the sound of most is my own native language, which has such
wonderful range...
