Ah.
The long-standing convention of this list is that one may post in any language,
natural or constructed, and nobody is allowed to complain. This is not an
English-Only mailing list; it is merely that English postings reach the most
people.
So suggesting that we make Dutch (or Esperanto or Ygyde) the official language
is nothing more than a jest, "ha ha only serious".

Almost certainly it came from another list, but I'm not sure which: probably
Lojban or Jboske.
I have always admired And's magnificent periods, and I thought getting one
of them into my .sig file would be a Good Thing.
