Since you mentioned logic as a criterion, I'll point out that basing
your con-alphabet on the Roman alphabet might not make sense, depending
on your goals and point of view. a e i o u only progress in that order
in the Roman alphabet, and it's arbitrary.
One thing you could do is order the sounds by frontness/backness: u o a
e i, adding a line as the vowels get fronter.
Just an idear to take or leave.
