Yes, it has 1, 2, 3 and 4 syllable words. I'm refering to Tommie's suggestion, not Solresol.

Limiting the number of syllables (i.e., to 7 in Solresol's case), and the number of syllables per word (whether it's three or nine, doesn't matter).

Sure, but in most / all natlangs, there are enough syllables that we never run into so many homophones that the language becomes useless. We're also able to compound, etc.
