Va:lkommen! Tervetuloa! Hauskk'tuloa! Yokoso! etc..
I'm still a new-comer myself, and let me tell you that
you'll be overwhelmed by the list with all the topics
flying about on a daily basis. If you can't read your
email everyday, like myself, you'll have the trilling
experience of cleaning out hundred of emails at the
end of the week when you can! Besides that, though,
this is a great international community of people of
similar interests.
Unfortunately, I cannot participate in conversations
as actively as I'd like (I think many on here may be
students or retirees, with a little more time to kill
than us full-time employees... although I know that
some, Irina comes to mind from what I've read on her
webpage, manage to contribute a lot to the list even
with a hectic schedule), but I do enjoy skimming and
trying to learn tidbits from the others. Hopefully,
you'll find the list rewarding too.
I think I happened to see a little on the description
of your conlang, but would you mind expanding? Mine,
Vya:a:h, in very simple terms, has a lot of vocab
cognates to Finno-Ugric & Japanese natlangs with a
pseudo-Asian (ie, Khmeresque/Hangulesque) script... of
course, there's more to it than that, but for now that
will suffice.
