The "Santa Claus" culture is very different from the "Father Christmas" one, which is what we call him over here. What I have always taught my children is that Father Christmas is very real, in the sense of a spirit. He is very palpable around Christmas time. The whole "santa Claus" (or even worse, just "Santa") culture is more akin to disneyland than the ancient festival that has come to be known as Christmas. As a pagan, I would like to say to the Christians on the list, I think you have done a good job actually. Mike --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
