There has to be an application that edits .kbd files SOMEWHERE, but I
can't remember where it is or if it even exists, and it's pissing me
off. I'm not particulary fond of Tavultesoft Keyman because it's
remapping the keyboard which itself can be remapped anyway. I'd rather
use a Windows-resident function than a whole other program.
I'm forced to use US-International, which only allows me to work in
Latin-1. The Russian keyboards are arranged completely different (not
in a QWERTY layout), but I'd rather use a QWERTY-based phonetic system
(i.e. KOI-8 encoding remapped to the Latin alphabet in the same order).
Same with Greek, but I use the Symbol font anyway; no accents with that
however.
I'll get my lazy a$$ in gear and try to find something. In fact, I'm
gonna e-mail Bi££ G@t$ and tell him to get a friggin' .kbd editor;
they have a *time zone* editor anyway!
DubYa.
