Hmmm. I'm wondering how this species looks like. Can you show us a drawing
of their faces? How can they pinch their noses? Do they have some little
tentacles around their mouth/nose to do that?

Actually, what got me onto this was that I already have some (minor) conscious
muscular control over the "flaredness" of my nostrils, and I was sat there
(subconsciously) flexing them as I thought about possibilities for other POAs.
My mind turned to various (semi-)aquatic species that have much fuller muscular
nostril control. So my "pinching" was another attempt by a human "vocal" system
to replicate this higher degree of nasal ability.
As to their appearance, that's not really my forte. Basically human. The
conworld is our world, except more species have evolved to human(oid) standards.
For some reason, an image of a capybara (?) springs to mind...

PS: I've never really felt like joining conculture, but I think I may have to
start at least lurking.
