I just wanted to point out that the nominative is
usually the unmarked case in nominative languages
(which I'm sure you already know), and in that case you wouldn't have to mark the
nominative at all. It could just be _alu_ (which btw means "beer"
in Runic Swedish :). Though there's nothing wrong with a suffix at all. And I
don't know the diachronics of Lydian, it was just something I thought of when
reading through the sketch.
