Forget the Midwest, try Sunny Southern California (was: Upper Midwest ConLangCon?)

How about one in the close-to-everyone not-quite-live-entertainment capital
of the world? Come on, Creation can't be the ONLY organization willing to
hold a con here in Los Angeles/Long Beach. And I happen to be sickeningly
close to about thirty-five thousand hotels. Besides, the fact that Nimbus
2003 is in Florida has me seriously depressed. Though they liked my paper
so much, they're having someone else present it for me in my absence (!)
Plus, if there are less than 3 people besides me, and if it's after April
2003, I can get us into Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure for
free.
