As I wanted my Mamqian translation below to have one word on each line (and also as I don't yet have word for 'between'), I used the adessive case on both words. You could say, for example, "next to X and next to Y", if that suits you better. But perhaps that only works when X and Y are relatively close to each other - a boat between two shores of a sea isn't necessarily "next to" either shore. -- But, the poem: Musildar qonjdör ayouhñoai ifääeta iurwunta - Aii, durwummfar! "Like a flower regrows on all mornings by the sky and by the sea - Oh my land!" (_Aii_ here creates a slightly sorrowful feel - "oh my poor land!". I doubt it was meaning in the original, but I like how it sounds... Also, _durwumm_ from _durwa_ 'to see' and _umm_ 'ground, land' means actually a smaller region... literally, and originally, it means the amount of land one can see from one place without moving. ñ = n-tilde, ä = a-dots, ö = o-dots)
