Yargish:

not feed-IMP the-troll
_Yuran_, literally something like "biggie" or "big one", of course refers to
the same kind of troll as Meghean _drom_. Probably originated as an euphemism
for a tabooized original word - Yargish children who strays to far from home
_do_ occasionally get eaten by trolls. Whether this counts as feeding them is,
I guess, a question of definition.
I might mention that unlike the situation with Meghean, the spelling of
Yargish has never been meant as part of the artistic creation - it remains
that ad hoc hopefully helpful mess I made up as I went that night of insomnia.
The native writing, on which I've done very little actual work, is supposedly
a mix of phoneto-, syllabo- and ideogrammes, utterly devoid of standardized
spelling.

PS It still feels odd to refer to anything of my creation as 'artistic'. I
cannot readily answer why, but 'art' and derivatives comes with an unhelpful
emotional charge for me.
