I definitely have no formal system of rules, but entirely go by "feel".
I have some idea of what the language should sound like, and invent
words such that they sound "right". The style of Old Albic is a
"classical" one, like Latin, Greek, Sanskrit or Quenya, spiced with
Celtic. But no formal rules, let alone word-generation algorithms.
Some roots, however, are derived from Proto-Indo-European roots
by regular sound correspondences, as I imagine Albic to be distantly
related to Indo-European. But that's only a small subset of roots.
Greetings,
Jörg.
