Most people that I know *well* would say, "Neat!" or
"Interesting!"--because the people I know well are people to some extent
at least like the people on this list: friendly and interested in all
sorts of things. Some of my *best* conversations with people I'd just
met, too, have been with fellow bookworms!
And I read SF/F, (military) history, science (mostly physics/astronomy),
linguistics, and God knows whatever else comes my way.
