No doubt about the first...
In the mid-60s I grew a jaw-line beard, which I thought quite fetching, but
it totally freaked out my mother (remember, from South Dakota) not because I
looked like a beatnik, but "J.C!!! YOU LOOK LIKE A MENNONITE!"  Earlier, I
grew a mustache, but after seeing a picture of myself, shaved it off.
Lounge lizard. Bad 1920s matinee idol.  Grew another one in the late 80s,
when the clone look was trendy, but it came in mixed red, white and black,
so clean shaven ever since.
Am right-handed, but (like da Vinci IIRC) can write backwards quite legibly
with the left; that must count for something.  I should learn Arabic or
Hebrew.

BTW, I thought the plural was _pooves_.....?
