Actually, I meant schwa, too. But then I noticed that there are
fronted/palatal allophones like /i/ and /j/, and decided to simplify
the transcription.
This doesn't matter anyway. The 'deep' entities don't need to be
pronounced, and 'underlying' transcription is not equal to a
protolanguage (which I think had four vowels); yes, I'm already
working on proto-Ija-Miituuic :)
