Well, it wouldn't have to be wrong; just a slightly shorter travel
time..... or maybe "33"(9) would have some special mystical significance?

The Gwr had a base-8 system (obvious reason: 4 fingers per hand),
though once they got involved heavily in trade and financial dealings with
the Kash, they abandoned it in favor a decimal.
