Sindarin Stress?

I've just re-skimmed the Ardalambion page on Sindarin, and found no
reference to stress placement. Is is the same as in Quenya (which is
the same as in Latin, IIRC), or is it more word-final (seeing as most
Old Elven words seem to have dropped their final vowel in Sindarin)?
I for one would be relieved to know that beautiful words like "Fangorn"
and "Orthanc" are stressed on the ultimate... they'd sound outright ugly
otherwise. =P
Similarly, "Rohan" would sound cooler IMHO if it were /rO"han/ rather
than /"rohan/, though the language of the Rohirrim probably has its own
untold stressing rules. =\
