The Taruven kinship-system isn't complete yet but so far:

parent (endearing): vah veì
parent: faì
grandparent: ranfaì (2-parent)
greatgrandparent: hvennfaì (3-parent)
etc.

son/daughter: tcan
grandchild: rantcan (2-child)
greatgrandchild: hvenntcan (3-child)
etc.

sibling (endearing): na
sibling: nan þan
nan is same generation as ego or *earlier*, þan is for same generation as
ego or *later*
child of sibling: þantcan
grandchild of sibling: þanrantcan
greatgrandchild of sibling: þanhvenntcan
etc.

uncle/aunt: faìnan
uncle/aunts' child: faìnantcan
uncle/aunts' garndchild: faìnanrantcan
etc.

the child of somebody who has the same great great great grandfather as ego:
kaìrfaìnntatcan (5 syllables btw, nn is syllabic in nnta)
"great great great grandfather's great great great great grandchild"
(might be a 'great' too much there :) )

Basically: shortest bloodline to ego+fewest generations up or down to person

Lacking: general word for spouse/mate, the in-laws, half-sibs, honorary
relatives etc. An existing word for mate, "cray", cannot be used in
such kinship-compounds.
