Well, point taken.  I shouldn't have used the g....word.  Apologies.
If it's any comfort, there's many a page of generative phonological rules in
Chomsky & Halle Sound Pattern of English that I have called, and still would
call, gibberish (and there is I think a certain resemblance between such
rules and computer code-- ordering, precision, abbreviatory conventions
etc.)
