Clear the Table

Quite suddenly this morning the expression "clear the table"
occurred to me & I realized that there were two ways of expressing
the idea:
1. clear the table of the dishes.
2. clear the dishes off (of) the table.
Of course, this would work with other nouns as well, e.g., snow &
windshield.
Once I "discovered" this I immediately wanted to know how I would
express it in Senjecas. Would I "empty" the table of the dishes
or "remove" the dishes from the table? I decided to go
with "remove," which is "dûûra" in Senjecas.
dûûra = t.v. remove, take-, -off, -away, -out, omit, detach, skim,
clear [the dishes, the snow, etc. (from, éjha)]; eliminate; elide;
forgive, pardon, excuse, spare, absolve (from, éjha).
jh = /j-0/
she is clearing the table.
she table from dishes removes
n-us éðleep-ôsïo éjha pêlc-on dûûr-a.
that-NOM.sg table-GEN.sg from dish-ACC.pl remove-IND.
Anyone on the list have other ways to express this?
Charlie
