Nice... in Norwegian (not a conlang!), at least in my 'lect, I'd use the verb "rydde" V O Adv/PP "rydd (vekk) tallerknene av/fra bordet" "rydd bordet for tallerkner" or even "rydd i tallerknene på bordet" (which doesn't necessarily remove them from the table) Roughly: bord: table tallerken: plate/dish vekk: away av, fra, for, i: annoying prepositions "rydde" is used for: cleaning your room as in sorting/arranging the stuff in it, clearing a field (before, say, seeding it), killing someone, remove something, chase away someone or something, stop something habitual from happening (like, corruption) etc. Man, I need a really good Norw.->English dictionary... t.
