For some reason, this only reached me today; I replied to Christophe's reply
a few days ago. Here's something I missed at that time:
>3s (linguistic): 2nd person singular pronoun, he, she, it
Many langs. have a "4th person" or "3d pers. obviative", as in "he(a) thinks
that he(b) should go away". "5th person" is even possible, though probably
not in any natlang. e.g. "he(a) thinks that he(b) is taller than him(c)"-- a
problem I'm about to have to deal with in Kash syntax, which doesn't have
4th or 5th person.

Very common: lst pl. inclusive 'I and others, including you'
vs. lst pl. exclusive 'I and others, excluding you'
