I do use 4th and 5th person in Rav Zarruvo. 4th person is 3rd person
obviative; 5th person would be what I guess you'd call "3rd person
adjunct." Neither 4th or 5th person is present for the conversation; the
difference between the two is that 5th person is not present for the main
action of the conversation. In a sentence like, "Jim borrowed his father's
car even though he had said not to," the "he" would refer to Jim's father,
who wasn't present for the main action of the sentence (the borrowing of
the car) and thus would be 5th person.

Here's a thought for some of you building your pronouns: how about a
separate, distinct sense for 'I and you, but not others'? :-]
