I'M BACK!!! :)

Hi everyone!

After three weeks of well-deserved holidays, among which two weeks spent in
the beautiful, if largely overheated ;))) , Loiret (we had 42 degrees of
averge for the two weeks, and 55 degrees in the sun - and I'm talking
Celsius here :)) -), and one week seeing my family in Normandy, and a few
days to recover from the holidays (and I thought that holidays were meant
for rest ;))) ), I'm officially back on Internet, and thus on the different
mailing lists I'm participating in (chiefly Conlang of course :)) ).

Conlangly speaking, I must confess I did next to nothing during those
holidays :)) . I've just begun a new description of Maggel. The language
itself is not changing, I just reread my notes and found so many
contradictions and loopholes that I had to begin them again. It allowed me
to update the Maggel script, by adding a lot of evil ligatures I hadn't
thought about before (especially plenty of ambiguous ones :)) ). Apart from
that, people who read my METAFONTtutorial and/or participate in the
LaTeX-for-Conlangers mailing list will be happy to know that I enjoyed my
stay in France to buy the "METAFONT - Guide pratique", the only other book
besides the METAFONTbook devoted to METAFONT, and which happens to be a
French book. Another source for writing the METAFONTtutorial should result
in a better tutorial (I'm busy correcting it by the way :)) ).

So, how's life been on Conlang since I left? (Jan van Steenbergen told me
that it has been quiet. What? Does that mean that you guys really need me
to break our daily 100-message limit? ;))))))) )
