This, of course, is the thing that will seem odd in English (and
Spanish and Portuguese (as far as I know) and Italian and Greek).
All of these certainly have a plural form for their currency;
and at least Spanish and English use it when quoting prices.

The notes will all say 5, 10, etc. euro.
Doubly odd in nongerman languages!
