Just to confuse matters more, I know of some Uniates who hate the terms
"Uniates" and "Rites" and insist that they are separate "Churches" that
happen to be in communion with Rome (but gloss over the subordination).
Likewise, to confuse matters even more, there is an Orthodox Western
Rite, most of whom use a Liturgy based on the Anglican. They're under
the Patriarch of Antioch.
This doesn't count various Western "Orthodox" Episcopes Vagantes and
self-styled "Orthodox" groups.
