I agree, but one thing that I prefer about Mongolian over Manchu is that it's less angular.

The mirroring came in my script primarily because I wanted to relate the sounds of the fricatives to the stops. I had a seperate set of symbols for the fricatives in the beginning, but I decided to get rid of them because they made the script feel unorthogonal.

I noticed that myself. Buy you're right - on longer pieces of text it does indeed disappear. That, and the stem is a bit longer than it would normally be - the mode used is a slightly decorative one, hence the elaborate tails. I've translated the t-shirt text and I'm going to write it out this evening. It should be a better example.
