Afeared, acold, abear, arise, awake, etc.
Several of those are certainly still current.
Cold and bear are really only found in the
primitive; the others in both (rise/arise, etc.)
It's not like there's much of a difference
anymore - it's just a neat example of what used
to be that ain't adone now.
