I have a humble suggestion. Maybe it can help you generate better ideas.

"Invent new forms of communication. Design a new language!"

I think the verb "design" gives a more "professional flavor" to conlanging.
But there are other variations I can think of, such as:
"Understand the fundamentals of communication by designing a new language."
Or even:
"Language design: an interesting way to understand the communication
essentials."
