Taking your phrasing in #1 as hyperbole, I more or
less fit both categories -- but your latter comment doesn't
fit me at all. There are some conlangs I've only worked
on for a handful fo days, but most of them I've worked
on for a few months, at least. However, with me it's the
engelang [sort of] with no conworld attached, namely
gjâ-zym-byn, that I've worked on steadily for eight
years now, while I haven't worked on any conlang
involved in a conworld for more than about two years
at most, usually less. [Though the conworld itself
took up a lot more than two years of mine and my
brother's creative energies, I haven't worked on
any of its languages for more than a year or
at most two.]
