Well. Mesoamerica is south-north oriented but is all tropical and mounta=
inous.
Then you can find almost the same climate in Mexico or in Colombia or in =
Peru.
But there is a point, if the domesticated burden animal were the bison, i=
t would
have not been easily adapted to the tropics...? if it was the llama, it w=
ouldn't
have reach Central america or Mexico before trade would have developed la=
rge
boats.
Would be nice to know which posible burden animals were hunted extint...
mamuts?
