I wish I could help, but Boreanesia is tropical to sub-tropical.
Furthermore, Boreanesian flora and fauna is a like a sanctuary of
ancient Gondwana: all endemic mammals are monotremes (egg-laying
mammals), most endemic plant-life are non-flowering (gymnospermous
trees, cycads, ferns, etc.). No raindeers, sorry :(
But this is such a cool idea!!!

I have to say this again. This is such a cool idea: interactions
between con-nations/cultures!
I haven't worked out the details of Boreanesia's modern history. But
Japan would have definitely invaded Boreanesia. Perhaps a nearby
superpower like Nowapan could liberate tiny little Boreanesia.
Nowapan could perhaps also introduce the Cooperativist State after
the liberation. Its an appealing system that seems to go well with
Boreanesian culture.
But then again, like you said, each of us might be a tad to
protective of our own creations for this to work in the long run.
When one changes something, a conflict could arise when the other's
creation becomes affected by this change. I fear that eventually,
such creative unions will diverge into separate creations later on.
