Of those options, I'd go for r-caron, absent any significant understanding
of the conhistory of the romanisation.
If you're going to accept Cyrillic and other outlanders, how about these:
maƣavvel ƣ kanra ƣāen oƣamigh ƣu khaƣa ƣetuaþ ƣeìes
maнavvel н kanra нāen oнamigh нu khaнa нetuaþ нeìes
In the latter case, I'm implying casing pairs like H/н and Һ/h for /ʀ͡r/ ~
/ɧʳ/ (or whatever is) and /h/.
CXS? Hmm... I think /R_r/ and /x\^r/ are the equivalents of my guesses
above.
Do you have an existing {q} in the orthography? That's a pretty common and
generic symbol for "other".
