Coincidentally, /i/ used to be the Tirelhat 3rd person pronoun. With the recent changes, the independent pronouns in the nominative case all became obsolete, and only the prefix /j@-/ and the accusative form /mi/ are still used. And Tirelhat used to not distinguish between singular and plural either. Now I've got /v@-/ "they, their" and /ve/ "them" in contrast with the singular /j@-/ "he, she, it, his, her, its" and /mi/ "him, her, it". jë-mira-ja-n maj xhan (paghè, larpa, ...) 3s-love- ACC:PL capuchin (baboon, mangabey, ...) vë-mira-ja-n maj xhan (paghè, larpa, ...) 3p- -- languages of Azir------> ---<http://www.io.com/~hmiller/lang/index.html>--- hmiller (Herman Miller) "If all Printers were determin'd not to print any @io.com email password: thing till they were sure it would offend no body, \ "Subject: teamouse" / there would be very little printed." -Ben Franklin
