Interesting. I've had the very same experience. I've been inventing
scripts for years and have never had any difficulty learning to write with
them. Oftentimes in a matter of hours. Even when they undergo constant and
radical modifications, my brain/hands seem to master the changes rapidly.
But reading has always been another matter. It takes me much, much longer
to get anywhere near reading competency. Not sure why that is!
