Believe it or not, fairly close. More precisely, I
stayed primarily in Wigan, if that fits (it's kind of
a cross between Mancunian and Liverpudlian because
it's halfway between). So I fall into a lilt
sometimes, esp with questions. And I also slip into
the Canadian "ou" occasionally.
