Translation (was: Introducing Lapsi) And a question

Hi everybody!

"From the cities came the teacher and the doctors
 to speak to the people in one voice
 about their new world."

Oicoo:

"Duruxt, roodoiklir koon, zoo duglaupade egudhryz"

The question:(for anybody who has time to answer) I think I remember
this being talked about before but I'm not sure. What is it called when
sounds that butt up against each other change the way they sound?

I just developed a whole system of this for Ok and, now I'm hot to
translate everything I can lay my hands on!! It gives the language a
smooth flow.
