I assume you meant "Do not walk behind me, I may not lead" and that "may not"
here is "might not" rather than "be not allowed to"

NI coupled with a LOCative denotes motion of some sort.
PROH stands for Prohibitive and is a mood marker.
COMM stands for Commissive and is a mood marker, often used as a polite or
mild imperative. The stronger imperative is kā, so the last sentence could
also be:
ñarra liēn māniþa kā;
if the speaker were particularly irritated.
ASPect markers are in practical terms clausal modifiers, and can denote
modality as well as tense and aspect. Negation is treated like an aspect
marker.

ñarra sū-le-īr wē;
Become not behind me.

wā ñalla makēraon hīja;
I might not become leader.

ñarra sū-le-hāl wē;
Become not before me.

wā ñalla mīrja hīja;
