No, not at all.

Ok. I was hoping for an easy "in" to Kura, which I guess will have to wait
until I dl Redhat.

[snip an amusing rant]
I will make a KDE/Qt interface for Kura and a web interface for some
selected functionality. But I've neatly separated the application code
from the interface code, so it is quite possible to develop separate
interface modules. That's an exercise I leave to the reader - although,
if someone would want to do it, I think they should use WxWindows,
which has a good Python interface, a decent object model, and uses the
Microsoft widgets natively on Windows and Gtk on Unix (which I find a
pity). I wouldn't consider using TkInter, Wpy, Fox or any of the other
widget sets.

As I'm headed to Redhat, I'm presuming KDE and Qt will be reasonably easy to
come by? ISTR Redhat has just moved (v6.0) its default desktop from Gnome to
KDE (or vice versa) but has both in its distribution? Therefore the whole
"Widgets" issue becomes moot. No worries!

If you want to have a go, be my guest.

My cunning plan was far less ambitious. I was going to wait for some other
enterprising individual to port it to GTk+, and run this Win32 GTk+ as an easy
means of running Kura. As noted above, I shan't bother anymore.
btw, When's the next "public release" of Kura?
