- I'm pretty sure Roger is talking about the kind of L in my Jûdajca example, where it's not at the end of a word, it's at the end of a syllable (and is followed, in the next syllable, by a consonant): FA-MIL-IAE PA-MIV-JA (where the V /v/ is derived from a previous shift of /l/ > /w/) -Stephen (Steg) "venimos a ver / ke gozen i logren i tengan muncho bien" ~ from "skalerika de oro" a Ladino wedding folksong
