What? How can you possibly say that a language spoken by hundreds of
millions of speakers in countries on every continent is not a world
language? No one ever said that it was THE world language, there are
others like Spanish and Arabic.

Uh, no. British and American English branched off of a common
ancestreal form. Just because the British have stayed in the same place
doesn't make them any better than us. Englishmen in the 17th century
didn't sound like Englishmen today, or Americans, for that matter.

Uh, considering that Americans are the largest group of English
