Well, on the keyboard layout on my Slackware Linux computer I have all
precomposed letter+acute can be got at by typing compose, ', base
(compose being mapped to the menu key). ñ is as simple: compose, ~, n,
but I was continuing the habit of using acute as the only modifier
except the ring on å. The only relevant customisation to my keyboard was
including the compose character in the first place.
I would like to know how to customise the compose characters so that it
becomes possible to type s-hacek or eth (compose, d, - gives me đ. To
get an eth, I have to switch my layout to IPA and type dh) but I don't
know how to...
