Re: << List Held >> I've got an 'amendment' to help...

I couldn't help noticing that some of you have the same "List Held" trouble so I
think I should give you all a "tip" :)
Okay, it's not much, but helps a lot... I received 139 messages in one single day
and I believe all of you had the same "unhappy moment" <G>
The point is that when you subscribe into CONLANG (at BROWN.EDU), you automaticly
fall into the standard receiving method, which is sending each message to your
address. So if we sent 100 msg you'll receive just that much :-)
To solve that (help a bit, and if you want) you may ask BROWN.EDU to send a
DIGEST instead of single recipients, doing this:
send this mail;
-------------------------------------------
to: LISTSERV@LISTSER.BROWN.EDU
subject: <don't fill here with anything at all!>
inside the bodymail, write:
SET CONLANG DIGEST
-----------------------------------------------
Okay, you're done! Note that "set conlang digest" tells brown.edu to modify your
account in order to receive the day's messages compiled into one single e-mail.
A lot easier to get and read!
The "CONLANG" tells brown.edu that the modification is to be set on your CONLANG
listgroup. Therefore, you can do that with all your other lists if you want.
Just modify the list name.
I felt like I should share this with you... : -]
