Same here. If I got the digest I probably wouldn't read anything,
while now I manage to read most things that I'm interested in (I'm
not interested in American history, alternate or real, for
instance).

Anyway, subscribing to the digest doesn't prevent the list from
overflowing, because the digest is made of all messages sent to the
list.

Or perhaps it would, indirectly, because some people (like me)
wouldn't read anything and, consequently, wouldn't post anything :-)
