Only one letter different from Dutch/German "Engeland". I remember I've seen or
heard the term before, and (without clever thinking, of course) I associated it
with a language either connected with England or based upon the English
language. Dismissed!

Yeah, but Christophe's idea, "explang", seems to fit better.

Where do philosophical languages (philang) fit in?
This reminds me of something else: I always thought that "artlang" means:
"artificial language" and is synonym to "conlang". But I see it often used for
languages that are just created for the fun and according to the taste of its
creator, rather connecting it to the word "art". Can someone enlighten me?
