Ah yes, the good old fortis/lenis distinction. As I replied to Andreas, the
mid-word [?] surprises me. And I would expect the /d/ to
be voiced before the voiced sound /R/, even in initial position. So I
was roughly right, but got all the fine details wrong. :)
